The building was previously called ‘The Peacock Room’ after Thomas Love Peacock (1785-1866), poet, author and friend of Shelley, who lived at 47 West St, Marlow.
If you come to Marlow by train, follow Station Rd into the town, cross straight over towards the park and continue along Pound Lane. Turn left into the car park and walk half right towards the Leisure Centre entrance and you will see the museum.

Summer opening hours, from March to October, are:
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays 1pm to 5pm and Wednesdays 2pm to 5pm.
